Mold

Mold is found in virtually every environment, indoor and outdoor and mold has been around since the biblical times. Mold is simply earths garbage disposal. There are estimates that range from tens of thousands to perhaps three hundred thousand or more strains of mold. Mold thrives in warm, humid, MOIST conditions and gradually destroys whatever it is growing on. The combination of moisture and porous building materials is causing mold problems around the nation. Moisture that continues for more than 24 hours at a humidity level of 60% or more and a moisture level of 28% or more is a conducive condition for mold growth.  Molds can be seen in the form of discoloration frequently black, grey, green and white but can be seen in any color depending on the strain.  Everyone is exposed to some mold on a daily basis and it can not be avoided but long term exposure to mold inside buildings is not healthy for anyone. Mold reactions can vary from person to person depending on a persons age, health, and immune system.
